BDS 10th Grade Architecture Students passed ‘Stage 1’ of the Egg Drop Challenge
The eggs were literally flying at Baltimore Design School!
Sophomore students in Mr. O’Hara & Mrs. Zaeh’s ‘Intro to Principles of Construction Design’ class passed the 1st of 2 design tests in the Egg Drop Challenge. Scholars exercising their lesson in design iteration were tasked with creating a cardboard structure that could protect a raw egg when dropped 10+ ft. Students’ designs were scored 1 – 10 on beauty, strength and function.
With feedback in hand, they go back to revise their prototype for a 2nd challenge next week.
