Girls in the Game wrapped up their 8-week season of Teen Club yesterday! The said they had so much fun getting to know the teens. At the beginning of the program, Teen Club members voted on the industries that they wanted to learn more about, which were business and fashion. Last week, they had the opportunity to participate in a Leader to Leader Interview with Jody Davis, a local designer and founder of Jody Davis Designs. They did an amazing job preparing for the interview and asking questions. All in all, $3200 in scholarship money was awarded and will be added to each year the girls participate in the program.

The following 6 students each earned $500 for completing the program:

Tynaisa W earned $200 for participating in several of the 8 sessions.

Each teen will receive an email from GITG next week with more information about their scholarship money. We hope the teens feel more confident in their leadership skills now that they have completed the program and that they will stay involved with Girls in the Game in the future!
