The Spanish Honor Society was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 1953, for the students of North American secondary schools; and this chapter is due to the efforts of Señorita Rosales from Baltimore Design School, who established it in 2021. However, due to the pandemic this was the first induction ceremony at BDS.
