Juniors Dillon M. and Rashad H. joined a team of 15 students from area high schools on February 13 at the Walters Art Gallery tasked with reviewing 60+ film and animation submissions from students across the city.

Submissions were judged according to a rubric within specific categories such as documentary, music video, animation, etc.  Students from Baltimore Design School submitted 18 animation projects, some of which were selected for the showcase.

11th Grade student, Dillion M. remarked that the experience “inspired [him] to make films.”  He and Rashad were selected to adjudicate because they both have animation projects as part of their AP Portfolio course and are familiar with the animation process.

Students will work for pizza!
