The National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Baltimore Metro Chapter, in partnership with the Baltimore Design School, hosted the 4th Annual STEAM Career Fair with over 32 professionals presenting on the day-to-day experience within their careers.  

Students in grades 6 – 12 had the opportunity to spend time at the expo and speak with table hosts. The theme of the event was ‘Professionals Who Tell Our Story’ and our exhibitors spoke with participants about their journey into the STEAM field, challenges they had and successes they shared. 

Students and exhibitors commented that they loved the event and that the professionals were easy to talk to.  Most students said they learned about professions they didn’t know existed, and offered careers they’d love to see showcased next year.

Almost every exhibitor indicated they wanted to return next year, so we look forward to the 2024 collaborative STEAM Career EXPO with the NCBW!
