Mr. O’Hara’s seniors took over Principal Brozene’s parking space Friday to participate in the globally recognized Park(ing) Day. Park(ing) Day is an international day for artists to reflect the need for more open space and to reclaim parking spots and convert them to ‘tiny parks and places for art, play, and activism.’
Students brainstormed together and came up with designs for the project. ’22 Khalil Baker’s design was selected by the class for the installation. The class of creatives worked together to finish the design which was utilized by other classes as a shady, fun outdoor spot to do their work.
