This year, the selected BDS design, created by Wesley Alexander –  ’23 Architecture,  sought to engage students waiting for school to open by offering them breakfast and a place to sit.

12th Grade Architecture students  took over Principal Brozene’s parking space this past Monday, September 19 to participate in the globally recognized Park(ing) Day.  Park(ing) Day is an international day for artists to convert urban space reserved for cars into usable public green space (called “parklets”).

Morgan State University undergraduate Architecture students ​(PARK)nered up with MICA graduate students in Social Design to support our ​scholars, working in teams to conceptualize and then as a team to execute the chosen design.
