Greetings BDS Junior High School Stakeholder,
It has been a really difficult time as a principal prioritizing excellence, rigor, and equity, while simultaneously balancing it all as a woman, wife, and mother. I choose to lead in humanity and self-care for the entire BDS community. As a result, our Continuity of Learning is going to be grounded in our collectively developed School Performance Plan Goals. I expect our staff and students to both operate in excellence, follow a routine, and hold ourselves accountable. We will be checking in with families on a regular basis to assess your scholar’s progress and family well-being.
Following are the SPP goals that were identifyied at the beginning of the school year. We will continue to keep our scholars on track to meet these goals, and will require your help in doing so. Please make sure you and your scholar are aware of the above schedule. They will need to set their alarm like a regular school day. Keeping them engaged and grounded in routine will be key to success.
