Classes:  11th Grade American Government/Honors American Government

Background/Expertise in Content Area: This is my fifteenth teaching in Baltimore City Public Schools. I attended the University of Maryland and University of Baltimore Majoring in History and Political Science. I have had many positions from Lead Teacher to Test Coordinator, but there is nothing better than being in the classroom. I particularly love Government because it allows students to have a voice.

I joined the BDS Family because…I truly believe in the smaller school setting and the personal connections you can make to the students. I also believe in the CTE philosophy of providing students an outlet that they are passionate about.

Fun fact about me: My favorite thing is to play video games with my son and watch him and his sister play sports.
