The Council of Great City Schools recognizes BDS for stratospheric growth in i-Ready test data
i-Ready test data reveals BDS students are soaring!
We are thrilled with the message Principal Valentine received from the support team at Curriculum Associates regarding our scholar’s Middle of Year (MOY) progress reports! Our scholars demonstrated significant growth and as a result, BDS is being recognized within the Council of Great City Schools as an exemplar school for our ‘overall use of data, focus on staff development, work within and across the curriculum, and fidelity to [our] intervention program. Please congratulate your children for their committment to excellence, and shout out our phenomenal staff and leadership for their committment to our children. Following are the results, and then letter from the i-Ready team:
Hello Principal Valentine,
I wanted to reach out and congratulate you for the tremendous i-Ready MOY results your school achieved! Yesterday we had the district-level i-Ready data meeting and Baltimore Design School was singled out as an exemplar school for your overall use of data, focus on staff development, work within and across the curriculum, and fidelity to your intervention program. I am sure if you were in attendance you could have shared even more as to what you are seeing as keys to your success. I have attached the data that was shared and you will see that the hard work that you, your staff, and students are putting in is truly paying off! What you will see in the attached slide is your school’s median student performance and median percent of typical growth compared to the other CEIS schools as well as other schools within the Council of Great City Schools. This would include districts like Philadelphia, Detroit, Kansas City, Miami-Dade, etc., who also use i-Ready. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to talk through the attached data.
Congratulations again!
