I teach: 11th grade English

Background: I have a B.A. in English literature from Loyola University Maryland.  I also received my MAT  from Loyola University Maryland last year (2020-2021).

Why I chose BDS: I had the privilege of interning at BDS for my graduate studies, and through that experience I found a school atmosphere unlike anything I have experienced before: innovative teaching strategies; an extensively creative teaching staff; and most importantly, a talented, passionate, and funny student body.  It has been a great blessing to remain a part of this community.

Something people don’t know about me: I grew up in a farming-dominated section of South Jersey, so much of my upbringing includes working on a farm and a farmer’s market.  I care a lot about local produce, decreasing food waste, and increasing composting.
