October 1st begins FAFSA completion for Seniors. Free Applications for Federal Student Aid is what ALL SENIORS need to apply to IF they plan on applying to college (trade school, community/junior college, 4-year college/university). This is a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE process, so those who successfully complete their FAFSA sooner than later will be able to reap the benefits financially. Parents/ Guardians who claim their children MUST have their 2019 Federal Income Taxes files to proceed with the process. Parents/Guardians who did not file taxes in 2019 will also have options on how to file and to assist their student in securing federal grants and federal loans.

Begin Wednesday, October 8th and every Wednesday in the month of October, Seniors will have access to join articulation sessions for various colleges/ universities throughout the state of Maryland. Seniors will have the schedule posted in their Counseling Suite beginning September 30, 2020. Seniors can sign up for the articulation for the colleges/universities they would like to gain more insight on prior to applying.

Remember Seniors, your THREE COLLEGE APPLICATIONS

  • One Community/Junior College
  • One IN-STATE 4-year college/university (public/private, PWI/HBCU)
